NHS funding for fertility treatments has gradually been reduced in some areas over the last few years. So your neighbour may have access to more funding than yourself – and some areas in the UK offer no IVF treatment at all on the NHS.

The best areas at present are all in Greater Manchester, and seven areas do not provide anything on the NHS – these areas are mainly in the south for some reason.
